Patriotism is Dead

Posted by IT Pilgrim on July 1, 2008

Its Fourth of July week again, and everywhere people are getting the bug of patriotism, well, for the week anyway. So what I want to know, is there anyone out there still proud to call the US home? I used to be, as well as a die-hard fanatic about my state, but somehow it all died. I am betting there are quite a few people out there who feel the same. They are just not proud to be an American anymore, and why should they be?

That is my question to the peanut gallery this week, what is there to be proud of anymore?
